Another work week comes to an exhilerating close, and the Dollhouse family is buzzing with excitement and anticipation. Let’s find Dollhouse Mom and see what she has planned to make this weekend, the first with both kids out of school for the summer, extra special:
Just a short walk down the second story hallway that isn’t a hallway but rather a one-inch space next to a nonexistent fourth wall overlooking a mesh hamper, you’ll find the bedroom belonging to Dollhouse Brother and Dollhouse Sister! Let’s knock on the door even though there isn’t a door and find out what the kids are up to!
That’s OK, certainly Dollhouse Dad must be in the middle of an entertaining weekend project, what with so many things to be done around the crumbling house. Let’s have a look!
Hmm. The only one not accounted for is Dollhouse Sister. Where are you, Dollhouse Sister? Perhaps in the kitchen baking another batch of tollhouse cookies?
Bossy wishes her council a fun-filled weekend. Meet you back here for a recap of Stella the Dane’s birthday, some posts Bossy hasn’t yet thought of, other things, and a giveaway!

June 19, 2009 at 10:42 amYipes. Dollhouse brother and sister’s room looks just like my kids’ room. Except my kids have both been gone for 12 days (who is counting? enjoying?) working hard as camp counselors. So their room is CLEAN.
I jammed daughter’s last batch of tollhouse “cookie sticks” into the freezer after daughter decided to not take them to camp. I would have inhaled the entire box in one day. Instead, I have lost some weight. Miracle of miracles.
This weekend? Sleep cure under the air conditioner.
Take care, Bossy and family. p.j.

June 19, 2009 at 11:27 am1. I like the basketball drawing over DB’s bed.
2. Where are the tiny, cunning little bottles of wine and cat-bowls of gin? This is clearly a playhouse and not representative of any house I know.

June 19, 2009 at 11:34 amMmmmm…. napping… that sounds good. Sadly, my own crumbling down house won’t allow it.

June 19, 2009 at 12:53 pmI think Dollhouse Momma has the exact right idea. I may just follow her example tomorrow.

June 19, 2009 at 1:15 pmTollhouse cookies from scratch are SO much tastier than the refridgerated crap, the plastic tubes of it should be permanently recalled. If I wasn’t trying to save money by not turning on the AC, I would crank up the oven and make a batch. Good thing you have to run the fridge anyway, or I would have to drink warm wine.

June 19, 2009 at 1:19 pmThis is awesome! Can we see this as a series? Maybe John Cusack and other famous notables can make guest star appearances. Yay!

June 19, 2009 at 1:27 pmMay I suggest some tiny twinkling white lights to add to the dollhouse family decor? It think they’ll be more at peace for it.

June 19, 2009 at 2:31 pmIt looks like Dollhouse Dad injured his right foot – could that have been because there are no 3rd floor stairs?

19/Meg at the Members Lounge — if they were any more at peace I think this family would be resting in peace. I like the idea of teeny tiny little lights around the windows though.

June 19, 2009 at 9:25 pmTwinkle lights would be great! Just like Phoebe’s dollhouse on Friends. Of course hers had a licorice room, slides, bubbles and licorice room with a Tootsie Roll bed.

June 19, 2009 at 9:26 pmI”m wondering if Dollhouse mommy has a wee little bottle of Xanax hidden somewhere?
Michelle M. says
June 19, 2009 at 9:27 pmWhoops, I licoriced twice. One was meant to be aromatherapy room. Which is why the thing burned down. Looks like I’ve been in the gin bowl.
