Bossy’s Dane isn’t just Great, she’s very depressed the Phillies lost the World Series. She only hopes she doesn’t have to endure sportscasters talking about next year because her large heart can’t take it.
Your Dane does indeed look great. Gentle Giants. I just got a teeny tiny lap dog–and she is awesome but I’ve always wanted a huge huggable BIG dog.
Sorry bout your baseball boys. I’m not a baseball fan–basketball’s my only sport I can watch without crying in pain–but I know how crappy it is when YOUR team loses big.
My cats Jeter and Figgins were pretty delighted with the outcome (even though one of them is inexplicably named after the 3rd baseman for the LAA Angels).
Miz Bossy, that is one fine, fine photo of your noble beast, Stella the Great. That photo makes my eyes water – you caught Stella AND her aura. How the heck did you do that?
Beautiful, Sad Stella, don’t worry. Pitchers and Catchers report in February, and we’ll be back better than ever. For now, cast your uplifting gaze toward Wingbowl with me!!!!

November 5, 2009 at 9:19 amI am in love with your dog. We have a Great Dane/Labrador called Roxie. I love her to death, but I wish she was as docile as her Great Dane heritage.

November 5, 2009 at 1:02 pmI, too, have a major Stella-crush. When I was young my dad had friends who bred Great Danes. I loved to visit them.
If Stella ever decides to launch her own daily feature on Bossy’s blog, I’ll be there.
