…Like they always say, “bloom where you are planted”. I was once driving down Interstate 70 here in Missouri and saw a sunflower blooming out of a crack along the concrete walls that divided the highways. Trucks and cars were buzzing along and the lil’ sunflower just blew in the breeze. It was an awesome sight. :o)
…Just goes to show, one doesn’t mess with Mother Nature.
I know you said it was Manhattan, but the first thing that popped into my mind was “A Tree Grows in Brooklyn” and I wanted to sit on a fire escape eating peppermint candy and reading a really good book!
