Last Friday, Bossy and her friend Martha decided to shake up routine and go to a free concert, in the city, in the middle of the day. This time: M. Ward.
Bossy has never heard the word One, one, one stretched to four syllables, but the guy is definitely about something.
Poison Cup:
my new favorite song
M Ward has been on my “musicians my children must grow up with an awareness of” list for about six months. I’m so jealous of you and your concerts!
I just want to put him in my pocket. He’s so cute!
Like Kait, I am a little jealous of these little outings. I like M Ward, although I can’t think of him without remembering taking my daughter and friends to Arizona for spring break. On the plane M Ward’s video for Chinese Translation played about 100 times on the little TV screen in the seat. I couldn’t hear it, but I could see it…over and over again.
It was a great trip, we had a fabulous time. It is a sad memory though, because of the tragic events that occurred shortly after.
I really appreciate that live music is such an important part of your life… your weekly outings with Martha sound like such fun! Live music is like great sex, I think. None of us really NEED it, but life would be pretty dull without it.
I just discovered M Ward, I have envy now.
Saw him last year and he blew me away.
Those legs. 🙂
This is pretty much my new favorite song. I can’t stop playing it!
very timely Bossy!
Just today, Philadelphia’s own Teri Gross had a review of Mr Ward’s latest endeavor on her radio show – Fresh Air.
Bossy, I just have to delurk, because you have three of my very favorite things back to back to back – Great Danes (Stella could be twin to my Elvis), homemade chicken soup (yum!) and M. Ward. I love, love, love your blog, and a day without Bossy is a sad one indeed. Keep it up!
