Chocolate-covered anything. But especially pretzels, because salt and chocolate go together like chocolate and salt.
These pretzels were from the day Bossy and her friend Martha got together for some holiday baking, where baking equals dunk dunk dunk crunch crunch crunchcrunchcrunchcrunch.

January 6, 2010 at 9:00 amI love how you try and make it sound like you were being lazy and slothful when in reality – oh my gah – you MADE your own chocolate pretzels?????

January 6, 2010 at 9:12 amThese would not have made it out of my house. I’d be all, “Pretzels? What pretzels? I decided to scale back on the holiday baking this year. Sorry!”

January 6, 2010 at 9:59 amI made a pretzel chocolate thing at the holidays and good gravy they were evil. Pretzel snap + Rollo + 8min in 200 deg oven + m&m smashed on top = 12 additional pounds.

January 6, 2010 at 10:18 amBossy’s friend Martha hasn’t ever spent time in a federal women’s prison has she? Cause making your own chocolate covered pretzels is quite home-maker-ish.

January 6, 2010 at 11:06 amThe rolo pretzels mentioned above in #6 – pretzel, rolo in oven then smoosh a whole pecan on top, let cool…pretzel turtles…heavenly and sooo easy. Also, take Bugles (the horn shaped chip, salty) squirt peanut butter inside and dip in chocolate, mmmm, salty PB&C what could be better??

January 6, 2010 at 12:12 pmThere is an exceedingly evil, unopened box of Asher’s chocolate pretzels on my sideboard. It just might turn up on your porch, as I need to exorcize it before accidentally inhaling it….

January 6, 2010 at 3:01 pmI am curious about the Rollo recipes above…I need to go start some laundry and pretend that I never heard anything, never saw anything. I won’t miss what I don’t know…

January 6, 2010 at 5:18 pmChocolate and pretzels dunked in merlot?
Which reminds me…does Bossy want her box of Fern’s Famous Fudge or not? It’s way too tempting sitting on my kitchen counter staring at me…

January 6, 2010 at 7:00 pmI love chocolate and pretzels, but I was worried when I first saw the picture in the preview pane. I thought it was some bad result of the 21 day cleanse. Yikes!

This is much better.

January 11, 2010 at 4:22 pmOh, Bossy, I just made these Buttons this weekend. It was so simple and so good, and only one bag of Hersheys Kisses, 1/2 a bag of mini pretzels, and less than 1/2 a bag of M & M’s were all it took to have salty chocolatey goodness in mah belly. Unfortunately the recipe makes 70, which means I had to share, or I would be the size of a house. Currently, I am only the size of a moderate garden shed (with room for riding lawn-mower). I found the recipe on Tasty Kitchen: http://thepioneerwoman.com/tasty-kitchen/recipes/desserts/buttons/
