Healthy eating. It’s easier than unhealthy, and seems to be what Bossy always craves anyway. Pictured here is grilled swordfish with a heap of minced ginger on top, sauteed baby spinach, avocado with lemon, tomatoes in olive oil with garlic and sea salt, and some mango.
You’ll find many of these foods on lists meant to lower the bad stuff while elevating the good stuff, but Bossy doesn’t plan it like that. She just likes to buy what looks fresh and eat it as close to its original form as possible.

June 8, 2011 at 12:27 pmIt all looks wonderful and yummy…but I would have to have a couple of plates for all the food…can’t stand my food touching. I know it goes to the same place, but the thought of mango touching spinach or any other food touching…just can’t stomach it…I know…I’m strange…it’s ok, I’ve come to terms with it!
Have a great day!

June 9, 2011 at 9:01 amGinger is so piquant that I am amazed to see so much! I will have to try to just add it as you’ve done, it seems like the combinations would be surprising and delicious.
P.S. try salmon w/crumbled goat cheese baked on top! Mmmm!

June 10, 2011 at 11:42 amAmen. Heaps of produce in our refrigerator and on the table every night. Yeah summer! Please ignore all the blintzes with sour cream and cheesecake that were served this past week. We did have baked trout stuffed with herbs from the garden and lemon slices!
Have a great weekend, p.j.

Re healthy whole foods, I was just heading downstairs to make me a kefir, banana, strawberry, blueberry smoothie, mmmmm. Made minestrone for lunch. Just can’t stand processed food anymore, it tastes so YUCK after real stuff.
