Look at the letter Bossy received today from the United States Post Office! Actually Bossy’s workplace received this letter!
And in this letter from the United States Post Office is the promise of five time-saving tips for the holidays! Except the first problem was getting into the envelope:
Time-Saving Tip Number One: You can buy all of your postal needs online, including boxes and stamps and Bossy didn’t read the rest:
Time-Saving Tip Number Two: Forever Stamps never lose their value:
Time-Saving Tip Number Three: Yeah, Bossy didn’t really understand this one:
Time-Saving Tip Numbers Four Through Infinity: They’re buried in this list somewhere:
But Bossy has an even better time-saving tip this holiday season: Don’t buy anything, don’t send anything, don’t give anything.
Bossy is posting every day in November. Here’s what you missed so far!

November 8, 2012 at 9:36 pmIt is NOT time for the holidays!! I’m still burning my pumpkin candle and eating Pumpkin Whoopie Pies and Pumpkin Cheesecake.
I think the Forever Stamp thing is for the people who buy 200 Christmas stamps and then decide “screw it, I don’t feel like sending Christmas cards this year”.
You can use all those stamps to give people a chuckle when they get their July birthday card with a Rudolph stamp. You don’t have to waste any time in the post office line for the rest of 2013.

November 8, 2012 at 10:08 pmIt’s actually quite simple…
• Express Mail Flat Rate = We run over your package with one of our trucks prior to delivery.
• Priority Mail Flat Rate = We run it over with a faster truck.
• Global Express Guaranteed = We send your package marked “Switzerland” to Swaziland. Guaranteed.
• Express Mail International Flat Rate = We send your Swiss mail to Swaziland and run it over with one of our planes.
• Priority Mail International Flat Rate = We run it over with a faster plane.
