I had chills. That said, after this morning’s McCain announcement I’m really scared. Why do so many women seem to be focused on the fact that McCain chose a woman that they don’t care that she’s rabidly anti-choice.
He’s a good man and has superb leadership qualities. I hope he knows what to do and how to do it once he’s at the front of the line, but then I hope that of any leader, and am often disillusioned.

I am certain that his breath smells like Girl Scout Thin Mint cookies and if I were to stand close to him and he spoke to me, I would think to myself “please please please keep talking, you delicious man with the wonderful ideas.”
I actually WAS a speech-writer, in my life before I had children and WOWZA. At no point during “the speech” did I have anything to say but “YES!” And, on more than one occasion, “I LOVE you! And? I love your WIFE! And your kids!”

My technically challenged, doesn’t know how to text, can’t take pictures with her phone and has never heard of Twitter or Plurk mom was at O’Fest and only called me ONCE. And left a message.
