You don’t even want to know that it is a beautiful, sunny, warm day here in Santa Barbara. I am looking out my office window at the mountains and a big, beautiful, blue sky. Too warm for a jacket even. Lucky me. And, I’m thankful for it every day (except, my house is much smaller than yours due to the extremely high cost of housing here).
Just got back from driving in Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, and Missouri and was quite grateful that we didn’t encounter snow in our road trip. Loved the blue sky, bright sun, brown grass, and fabulous variety of bare deciduous tree shapes. And tree shadows stretching across the ground.
(Now back to the low sun, when we have it, and evergreens of western Washington.)
After driving home for 2 hours Sunday in blizzard like white out conditions, I am starting to look at lovely snow covered pictures a little differently!
Beautiful…I love snow, but it is going to be 83F here today and windy as everything.
We had a ton of snow on Sunday and the whole world sparkled in the sun.
Now the snow is gone from the branches, plowed from the streets and only the cold remains.
Thank you for one more photo of the beauty of pure blue white and tree.
Gorgeous! I can send you a “it’s blooming but it’ll freeze again here and kill have the trees” shot if that helps?
That’s really beautiful. We never get in snow here in Arkansas. But its gonna be 70 degrees here today so I guess its all good.
Gorgeous!
It is already 72 degrees & suppose to hit 80 then go back to the 60’s. Can you say tornado weather ?
I am eagerly awaiting spring shots and shots of flooded back yards. Winter can bite me.
Bbbbrrrr! We’re suppose to reach 68° on Sunday. I’m looking forward to it.

That shot almost makes me miss the cold, clear winter mornings back home. Almost. Actually, that picture is enough for me. I’m good.
Don’t shut up. Ever.

So have I missed a lot of great snow shots, and how do I get to see archives of them?
