Bossy’s shed.
A bunch of years ago, Bossy set out to design a shed for the odd rake and watering can, and this was the result. The windows were trash picked, the siding is the cheapest sold, the roof is cheaper still, and the wide doors allow easy access.
The fact that it is getting mossy only adds to its charm. Quit laughing.
I’m not laughing! I love it. Our shed is falling apart…and over crowded…and needs so much work I avoid going in there!
Your shed should starts its own blog: iammossy.com.
Who’s laughing? Bossy’s shed makes our redneck, slapped-together sheds and barns look like, uh, redneck, slapped together sheds and barns. You haven’t seen class until you’ve seen a barn sided with pieces of an old waterbed.
And the hinges…? Give it up–where’d they come from? I LOVE ’em. (Of course I drive around my city taking photos of old, old, old garage doors!)
It looks charming to me.
CBW – laughing so hard at that comment I quite forgot what I was going to write…
BOSSY GETS MOSSY. (Now if you only followed Australian music and knew of the inimitable Ian Moss… the double entendre would be well shared…ah well!)

PS Nice shed!!
PS I’ve done a post on ‘old stuff’ today too… kinda.
Are you kidding? Bossy can design my shed any day!
CBW is just too witty! And of course Bossy is way too talented.
Were you thinking of doing a major renovation of the shed via your blog? You know, like Ree did with the lodge.
–>CBW’s IAmMossy.com comment is too funny. Ha!

i love it and want my own bossy-mossy shed
If I had a shed like that, it might be one of my favorite things too!
Bossy has quite the flair for sales and marketing. I’ll bet you could sell ice to an snowman.
If moss = charm, this chick’s place is brimming with it up here in the Pacific Northwest. Quick, fire the pressure washer, I just learned we are charming!
It’s darling!
Of all the sheds I have seen, yours is the Charlie Browniest.
That means I love it , of course.
I’m sorry, I don’t speak your language . . . “design a shed”? Is that possible? I’ve heard of “design a house” but never “design a shed.” Your designed shed is disgustingly adorable, and functional. You are making me look bad, Bossy — quit it. ; )
2/Chesapeake Bay Woman — soooo clever!!
Our shed took husband 4 long years to complete, but now it’s going to stand forever. Siding and roof are weathering to silver (and moss) and the trim around windows, door, and fascia is all sorts of bright cheesy colors. (My doing.) Love sheds.
Laughing? I am jealous, Bossy has a quaint secret hideaway. There are probably white lights strung inside?
CBW – Cute!
I think the shed is cute but I am salivating all over your pea gravel, riverstone usage.
I’ll happily steal that idea – thank you very much.
