They can’t take 40 standing up, so they go away for their birthday.
This virtual peek is brought to you by Bossy’s friend Kristin. She doesn’t like the word ‘blog’. Yet she has one and here it is!
Do you have a blog and want to be featured in the Just Like Us photo album? Email Bossy your jpg today! And don’t forget to include a caption describing what you’re doing in the photo.
She doesn’t like the word blog? Hmmmmmmmmmm : )
I think that is a good way to turn 40. I don’t want to turn 40 for a long, long time. Or in 7 years : ). Whichever comes first.
She doesn’t like the word “blog.” She likes to do it! She likes to read them! She doesn’t like to say it because she feels like she’s is horking something up out of her throat when she does.
Actually, turning 40 was better than I’d expected.
And I totally recommend going away for the actual birthday.
I went to Chicago for my 40th last year. We went to a Cubs game, ate some pizza and other glorious food, had a “few” cocktails with some friends…I almost forgot I was turning 40.
Almost.
But…was it a holiday Inn?
Turning 40 might be rough but settling into it is pretty nice.
