I have lived in Chicago for more than 8 years now, and I even worked downtown in the Loop for about a year. I STILL can’t go down there without looking up! My husband just laughs at me and calls me a tourist- he grew up here, so I guess he’s just used to it.
Doesn’t the Sears Tower have those plexiglas boxy things now, the things you can stand in and look straight down at the tiny pedestrians, 80,000,000 miles below?

I am happy to see Bossy and Mel having a great time together in Chicago. It almost makes me wish I was there.

So the Sears Tower has been recently renamed the Willis Tower and I hear the locals, in irritation, are calling it the Big Willie.
