Here’s everything you need to know about Sela Ward: she was a cute girl working as a cute artist until she discovered she could model and turn all that cute into money.
And then she discovered she could act and turn that cute into even more money.
And then she was in a television series about sisters:
And then Sela Ward was in a television series about a divorced mom who meets a divorced dad and the two of them combine households: his stress, her stress, and their stress:
And then for five years Sela Ward played an attorney in the popular television series House:
If you liked this post, you may enjoy this post which features Billy Campbell, Sela Ward’s husband in Once and Again.
Bossy, do you watch BIg Love. I would love to read your recap of an episode.
AND while on “Sisters”, Sela got to kiss GEORGE CLOONEY.
Sigh. I still miss Once and Again.
I met Peter Horton once at a Creative Coalition event…oh my Gah! He is the sweetest, most charming cutie-patootie. And wasn’t he married to Michelle Pfieffer eons ago?
I loved her in Sisters.
I miss that chick married once to Bruce Springsteen…
Plastic Surgery FAIL?
OMG, Bossy is the best look-alike finder of all time! Have you seen a little book called “Separated at Birth?” But don’t forget that my husband George Clooney was discovered (by me) on Sisters. Ahhhhhh.
You forgot to mention that she got killed good and dead before the Opening Credits of THE FUGITIVE and made Harrison Ford grow a beard.
I remember that Once and Again, by the thirtysomething creators, premiered the same season as another network put on Now and Again, by the creators of Moonlighting. I’ve never forgiven TV for that confusion.
I was much more interested in seeing Now and Again because it starred my secret failed actress girlfriend Margaret Colin, and also Heather Matarazzo from Welcome to the Dollhouse.
What about when she hooked up with Tom Hanks in “Nothing in Common”?
I think I actually saw that movie to see Jackie Gleason.
I have always had a crush on Sela Ward. When I was younger, I thought she was so exotic. I loved Sisters…I wouldn’t watch it again for fear of ruining it.
I am sure you didn’t mean to make it sound as though Ward was on “House” for five years. She did a big handful of episodes.
lots can happen in 1 year !
How freaky would it be if they had the same plastic surgeon (and hairdresser)? Because, by the looks of it…they did. Let’s hope she has a different doctor.
Yeah. But did you SEE in that episode? She just MOON WALKED right OUTTA THERE.
Sela Ward really used to be very beautiful, too much cosmetic surgery sure makes people look creepy!
You know how some people feel about Joseph Stalin or Pol Pot? For some reason that’s how my sister feels about Sela Ward. Go figure.
I have always loved Sela Ward. Now, of course, I love her even more.
I need to go back and review all of these movies/showsss!
I’m such a chick — I loved all those shows. And it was my sister who discovered Clooney on “Sisters.” Duh.
Missing a good chick drama like these — and the flashbacks! With the dead relatives weighing in! Good times. There’s nothing like this really on TV today. I tried “Brothers & Sisters” but it got too soapy. (And Calista Flockheart — eh.)
Where’s Billy?
But wait? What about The Fugitive?
Oh, Bossy. You are so good at the look alike game.
Nearly betrayed my sneaky blog-reading activities with a loud guffaw when I saw the Sela Ward: The Michael Jackson Years shot. Today is NOT the day to get caught reading blogs.
