Bossy’s postage stamp. See it back there?
It’s not that she loves the size of this TV, which is so inadequate as to render its broadcasts akin to an AM radio — but Bossy loves how portable it is, because she doesn’t really want a full time TV in her living room.
On special occasions, though, like last night’s National League division game between the Philadelphia Phillies and the Colorado Rockies, Bossy can haul the TV up from her basement so the family can watch while they cook and eat and do dishes and homework and sit by the fire and have baseball game heart attacks.
Yay Phillies!
Glad the Phillies won. At least I have someone to root for now.
Just wish my Red Sox hadn’t died a premature death. *sniffle*
Try being a Cub fan. Now thats a BIG sniffle every single year.
Great Game!!
Oy. That game gave me agita.
Bring it on, Dodgers!
–>I love Bossy’s very “pro poverty party” vase on the table too.

OK, this is exactly what I needed last night. I am in the dog house because my scheduled DVR taping went wacko on me and kept jumping to “Lie To Me” and we couldn’t cancel it or get back to the Phillies game because it just had to go off during the most critical part of the game! My husband had a mini heart attack and is still not talking to me.
My poor Rockies! But we still have the Broncos: 5 – 0 after kicking some Tom Brady butt!
repeat WFC phillies!!!!!
Grandma J bleeds Dodger Blue!
I hate a living room with a hugh TV as the focus point—unfortunately my husband does not agree so we hit a compromise–72 inch flat screen mounted on wall behind wood shutters that can be closed off when not in use. Ideal!
even my two-year-old wanted to watch the baseball game yesterday. she shane victorino because he’s “her flyin’ hawaiian.” which means i don’t have to share jimmy rollins, which is FINE BY ME.
Bossy’s table settings always look stylish, even with t.v.
@leslie, 72 inches! Wow, that would cover half my living room wall.
I’ve always wanted to be a “no tv as focal point”, but there’s no hope for me. The tv is on so much, putting it behind a cupboard would be a waste of time. At least televisions are so much prettier now with all the flatness.
I love your house. In every picture it looks straight out of a magazine.. a cool magazine.
