This couple. For two fun-filled years they lived next door to the Bossy family, where they educated Bossy regarding their native British television shows, music, Indian curry, and homemade Chimay served deep into the night, which put all of the adults on their asses.
Individually these two are lively, serious, knowledgeable, interested, funny, generous, and game. And together, well they just work. They are respectful, caring, snippy when need be, humorous, engaged, and supportive.
And for nearly a month they’ve been acting as parents to Bossy’s daughter, who is staying with the family in England. Bossy can’t express her gratitude to this pair for giving Bossy’s daughter this amazing experience.
Bossy can’t wait to host their daughter here in America next summer!

Bossy’s right….WHAT a FULL of LIFE pair. We all loved them. Sorry they moved…shite.
do you think they would be a host to a friend of bossy’s – i’m fun, and as you know my spouse is equally as fun, we LOVE Chimay (even homemade) and we love to sit around tables in far off countries reading the newspaper and drinking coffee… oh yeah, and we LOVE THE BEACH!!!!
How great for your daughter. (I just hope she is laying off the Chimay.)
I need to send my kids to visit our au pairs’ families – we have hosted their kids for a year
Only good people like Chimay.
pick me pick me .. to be their child next summer!
I’ll bite. What, pray tell, is Chimay?
Yeah for good friends who will trade off their children!
Take care, p.j.
Me too. What’s Chimay?
If it’s something that puts adults on their asses I want to know about it.
Rakije will do that too. Did it to me, for sure.
How come you never send me to England? You treat me like a stepchild. Hm, I say. That’s it, I’m joining the French Foreign Legion. Don’t try and stop me.
