This photo. So youthful and sweet and yet there’s the evident strength of their unwavering bond. Them as a unit, we’re just observers.
Step inside Bossy’s brain for a moment to find out how it came to be Bossy was looking for Paul and Linda McCartney images:
Bossy was listening to The Beatles song, For No One, which Bossy reviews here in her Earworm feature. For No One was written by Paul as his relationship with Jane Asher crumbled.
The thing about Jane Asher and Paul McCartney is they were engaged. Jane was good for Paul in many ways — she came from a very dynamic, artistic family that filled a house in the center of a creative scene, and inspired Paul with music and ideas and notions about how he wanted his life picture to look.
Unflustered, beautiful, and confident, Jane stood toe to toe with the world-famous Paul in a very Linda-like way. But she wasn’t Linda.

January 19, 2011 at 1:43 pmLove your ‘favorite things’ image and snippet of info re Paul and Linda. They really seemed to have it all, didn’t they? And I think you are right that without Jane, maybe Paul wouldn’t have realized what he wanted out of a family life when he did finally meet his soulmate. Life is funny that way. I am feeling all corny now.
