This alarm clock. This dusty alarm clock.
It’s fits in the palm of your hand and Bossy supposes it’s actually a travel alarm clock, but she’s been using it as her sole alarm clock for about seven years. It’s actually the replacement for the replacement for her original Equity travel alarm clock, which she purchased at Target.
Here’s what’s great about this clock: it’s simple. A couple of buttons, a snooze, and a pleasing little Dee-dee-dee-dih alarm that is neither too jarring nor too quiet that you can ignore it.
The only problem is these clocks have a shelf life of a couple of years — mostly because Bossy can’t stop dropping it off the back of her bedside table — and when Bossy was preparing to leave on her Excellent Road Trip, her clock broke and Target no longer carried the exact model.
And so Bossy’s mother gave Bossy her Equity alarm clock, which of course Bossy had talked her mother into purchasing a few months prior because: best. alarm. clock. ever.
Anyway, this exact clock clocked many hours and miles crisscrossing the country with Bossy — 10,000 miles in thirty-five days — and on Bossy’s very last stop in Ohio, she left this alarm clock behind here.
Lucky for Bossy, she stuck it in the mail or Bossy would probably still be sleeping.
