Cinammon. Cinnamin. Cinammin. Cinnammin. Cinnamon.
And by the way, that is what A World Without Spell Check looks like.
Back to Cinnamon. Growing up, Bossy used to slather her toasted bread with butter and then sprinkle with cinnamon sugar, where sprinkle equals Spill Until Entire Surface Area Of Bread Is Covered.
Young Bossy and her brother got so into this routine, that Bossy’s mom went out and bought one of those professional diner-style sugar shakers and gave it to Bossy for Christmas. And Bossy was all, “Best. Gift. Ever.”
But somewhere along the line, Cinnamon fell off of Bossy’s daily list. And even though she used to purchase both the sticks and the powder at her spice store, it was mostly relegated to Things Made For Christmas.
But then Bossy read something about how Cinnamon is a natural stabilizer of Blood Sugar, where read something equals: saw it on Oprah.
And Bossy is nothing if not totally suffering from Low Blood Sugar — so she followed the recommendation and began to sprinkle this spice – without the sugar this time – on her food a couple of times a day. Bossy can’t say for sure that it’s helping, but Bossy can say she feels ready to live in Bangladesh.
