When someone else cooks dinner. In this case it was Bossy’s husband, and he prepared seared scallops and a thai cabbage salad and sliced garden tomatoes.
And the chorus goes, “Awwwwwwwwww.”
But Bossy means it — there is nothing like being called for the dinner you didn’t prepare from an adjacent room; it reminds Bossy of her childhood, when the opening and closing of the metal kitchen cabinets on the other side of her bedroom wall indicated that meal time was drawing near.
It’s not the chore of cooking dinner that Bossy minds, it’s trying to figure out what to cook every night.
