This is what Bossy was doing on Sunday night instead of watching the Emmy awards, because she forgot they were on. She was watching that frocumentary about Isaac Mizrahi—and this is the worst part: Bossy had already seen the movie. Twice.
Unzipped is a behind-the-scenes look at the fashion industry a decade before the reality show Project Runway. In the movie, Isaac Mizrahi references dialogue from Whatever Happened To Baby Jane while employing a Ouija Board to determine upcoming trends.
“Isn’t the tile in the bathroom good?” he says to a disgruntled assistant. “Isn’t this fake fur good?” he says to another disgruntled assistant. Everything in Isaac Mizrahi’s world is good—until it’s not good at all, like when another designer steals his Nanook-of-the-North meets Mary Richards theme, which Isaac stole from The Call of the Wild.
But Bossy would have traded it all for a couple of hours alone with the Emmys, because: how will she know which series to add to her Netflix queue?
Which is what today’s Ten Word Challenge is all about. In exactly ten words, can you tell Bossy about a TV series Bossy shouldn’t miss?
And be sure to check back later today for the best comment Emmys on
the web.
