These glass knobs. It’s just the simplest little thing, really — but when Bossy found this hutch a handful of years ago it was unfinished in the back of a clearance warehouse of a turkish import store. First she painted it, and then she distressed it, and then she realized that the small wooden knobs were diminishing its elegance, and yes Bossy just called a wooden hutch elegant.
Anyway, she replaced the knobs with glass knobs purchased at Restoration Hardware. They were only a few bucks a piece, but they bring Bossy great joy every time she passes the hutch or needs to open one of its cabinet doors, which is approximately ten billion times an hour.
