Bossy thinks it’s real cute how they built these two little concrete barriers to protect the hydrant. (Prompting the internet to say, “Yah. Get a life.”)

October 23, 2008 at 9:23 pmThis is funny in a horrible sort of way because just the other day I watched an old lady swerve to avoid a SQUIRREL and run up the curb and into a hydrant; setting it off and giving me a car wash as I drove by. Oiy! Maybe our selectmen will decide to pop for a few hydrant guards in light of how many snowbirds we have that come back during the summer and then leave to go back south this time of year.
