Bossy thinks it’s real cute how they built these two little concrete barriers to protect the hydrant. (Prompting the internet to say, “Yah. Get a life.”)
This is funny in a horrible sort of way because just the other day I watched an old lady swerve to avoid a SQUIRREL and run up the curb and into a hydrant; setting it off and giving me a car wash as I drove by. Oiy! Maybe our selectmen will decide to pop for a few hydrant guards in light of how many snowbirds we have that come back during the summer and then leave to go back south this time of year.
I love the asphalt next to the rock curb, by the brick meeting the other brick
Protecting the hydrant?? From what?
From the Stellas of neighborhood?
And here I thought it was just another of your son’s photos about diversity.
I think it’s cute that they also gave the hydrant a little hat.
I plan to ask your city officials to choose my next paint color scheme for my living room. They’re so good at it.
Hey, is it just my monitor or does that hydrant match your blog??
Look! It has it’s very Secret Service detail! Awww.
Maybe there were more dogs than that lone hydrant could handle?
In my little neighborhood our fire hydrants are painted red white and green for the Italian flag..always have been.. 🙂
