I hope he lives up to all the promotion…
I wonder if we are not setting him up to be someone impossible to actually be.
I think your post is neat Bossy. I love to see people in good anticipation of a upcoming change- or hopeful change. But, I just wonder to myself if we are making an idol out of a man who hasn’t done anything for our country yet hasn’t proven himself yet.
I want him to be great, but I fear we are thinking him a deity before any testament has been unvailed.
Go Barack, go! And go Bossy and Bossy’s mother, too! Wave to him from all of us too far away!
I’m sooo jealous. I live in suburban MD and there is no way I can see him!
How frigging cool. I’m glad you got that shot, it’s perfect and I’m very jealous.
A little piece of history in the making. Cool!
That is soooo cool! I think it’s awesome that he’s doing that and following the same route as Lincoln did. What a moment in time.
Did you rip off your clothes and throw them on the track like they did when Elvis enlisted?
What Martha from Kansas said, only Linda from Nevada. For the first (and, possibly, only) time, I regret moving from the DC area!
and in a train car named after Bossy. (or at least from what i can see in the picture)
Lucky ducky!
Hey thanks for doing that for all of us who will never get that chance! Pretty cool!
Now he’s on his way to Nanny Garcia and Vuboq’s stomping grounds. Too bad I’m too scared to leave the house during the inauguration.
You are too dang cool for words. Next week is going to be the best week in at least 8 years, I think even more than that.
You have the coolest Mom ever. Next to mine. 😉
Tuesday will be a GLORIOUS day!
i’m glad the secret service didn’t see you there. also? he’s almost there.
I can’t wait till Tuesday!
There’s a fine line between staked and stalked, and that line is a vertical letter “L.”
It was SO emotional to see the crowds on TV mobbing the rails to see him. Great shot by the way! I feel I will be crying again…for the next few days.
Thanks bossy! I dont watch much tv, so I missed this. Your photos are a public service!
I read that Josh at the Comics Curmudgeon is going to do some ‘Man On the Street’ coverage. You two are my favorites.
you were along I-95 in delaware…
thanks for the great pix, bossy! so fitting he chose to start the journey in the city where our country began…
I can’t wait til tuesday!!!!! 🙂
YES WE DID!!! I totally would have done the same thing. Love it!
How inspiring to see THAT train roll on by!!!
Thank you from Massachusetts for a taste of new beginning coming to Washington!

I hope he lives up to all the promotion…

I couldn’t agree more with Dee. She wrote what I’ve been thinking.
He’s not a Rock Star. He’s not a Movie Star. Quit treating him like he’s some Hero.
I was watching on television and looking, intently, for Bossy and her family!
LUCKY YOU!!!!!
