This would be the reason Bossy felt like she needed a hard hat when she was standing in her backyard the other day. Not that Bossy owns a hard hat. Unless you count, It’s hard when your hat makes you look like Axl Rose.
Anyway. The winds the other day pulled large trees from their sturdy positions in Bossy’s small town. According to eyewitnesses, which equals Bossy’s friend Tim, this tree fell slowly, and when it did it landed on a utility pole, followed by a blaze of white light and a column of fire.
Any more questions about the hard hat?

February 14, 2009 at 3:53 pmWe had a large oak tree fall over onto the corner of the roof. My son, whose room was right next to that spot, slept through the whole thing.

February 15, 2009 at 4:37 amI think that those high winds that Bossy got were from the tornadoes that hit near where I live in Oklahoma this past week. The storms were supercells and very dangerous.
Sorry the bad weather came your way.

February 15, 2009 at 8:21 pmI can’t cope with roots. Because. As tall as the tree is…that’s how far the roots go out to the sides. And when I try to picture that it’s like the roots are always strangled in one situation or another. But then I’m in a fragile state!
