Side-splitting laughter.
And Bossy means it; laughing until you can’t breathe, laughing until a tear drops out of one eye like Julia Roberts, laughing until you are clutching your sternum with your lungs.
Bossy believes in the health benefits of tremendous laughter, a happy release.
In Bossy’s life, she has begun to peel away that which doesn’t bring her belly laughs, and carve away those who are not humorous. Life is too short and frankly Bossy would rather stay home and read a book. Preferably a funny one.
Bossy’s friend Ronny is in town, and last night there were plenty of these moments when Bossy just lost it. Coming up for air now. Send oxygen.

March 7, 2009 at 1:20 pmIf someone took a profile picture of me like that, I would NOT be laughing. I’d be hitting them over the head with their camera.

March 7, 2009 at 3:14 pmBossy, that happens to be my new favorite picture of you! Happy, happy, happy! I love a good laugh…especially the ones that make me feel like the end is coming because I can’t catch my breath, and my head starts spinning into euphoria due to lack of oxygen. But what better way to go!!

March 7, 2009 at 5:45 pmAm I misreading you or are you actually saying you’re getting rid of any friend that doesn’t make you laugh? That’s rather un-bossy. I really hope I’m getting the wrong idea.

March 7, 2009 at 5:57 pmBossy is very happy in this nice pic.
And slim.
I hope Bossy doesn’t carve ME away when I am not funny. Which is often.
Not slim either.
*sigh*

PS Can Bossy come to my place and show us all how to be funny. I have a contest. And loot. Leaving a breadcrumb trail…

March 7, 2009 at 9:13 pmI LOVE this picture!
I decided the very same thing about six months ago.
I jettisoned one very emotionally disturbed, very UN-funny and mean “friend.”
I started hanging around very funny people.
I am about to take the next level of Improv. classes at Second City in Chicago!
I have been told I should try stand-up.
I have never been happier.
Life is absolutely too short to suffer fools.
P.S. What are you cooking in this picture? 🙂

March 8, 2009 at 12:04 pmI hear you! Spent a weekend in NYC w/two girlfriends in Feb and LMAO – literally bent over in a store gasping for air. It went on all weekend. The best ever.

March 8, 2009 at 10:25 pmMy 83 year old polish MIL, one of my favorite people in the world, taught us all the laughing game. With a group, just start laughing really loud and hard over nothing. First it will be forced, then as you see others laughing, it spreads and spreads and soon you cannot stop. Bad for people with questionable bladder control, but great, great, great for the soul.

March 9, 2009 at 1:17 pmAh, I couldn’t agree more! Life is too short, and my BF and I regularly just start laughing, and soon the other has to join, and we never know why. But it’s the absolute BEST.
And the pic is great. I think people look the most beautiful when they laugh.
