Bossy doesn’t know what she did to deserve Martha and Martha’s husband, but whatever it was, it must have been awesome and taken place in another lifetime. Would you believe these two are not only Bossy’s best friends, but they live only one-hundred paces from Bossy’s front porch?
I would like to carry them around in my pocket. 🙂
Lucky ducky!!!!!!
I luff her hair.
You must have done something REALLY good to get them to live within 100 yards from your house. Maybe you saved her life in a previous existence. Or maybe you invented pink hair dye in your last life, and now she’s eternally grateful. It looks good on her.
Really good friends is what I miss the most about moving from Maryland to Nevada. We know people here, but nothing like the two couples we left behind. Sigh.
Did I miss the story about Martha’s hair? I wish I had the nerve (and the looks) to do pink!
I had a teacher in high school with the same color pink in her hair. That was in 1974. She was also awesome.
Adorable photo too
You are very lucky! They are too!
Lucky! I keep trying to get my best friend to move near me. You’d think the fact that we could drink beer in the afternoon and then she could walk home would be enough of a reason…but NOOOOO!
beyond lucky …
It’s a dream of mine to have a really great friend live close by. sigh. lucky you guys.
You *are* a lucky duck, Bossy. My bestest friend, who lives next door, is moving in a couple of months and I am so sad…
How fun, 100 paces from your front porch! No wonder you guys are able to have play dates so often!
Do you have any idea how lucky you are!!? “100 paces to a best friend” – that could easily be a definition for happiness.
Aren’t they a cute couple!
Awwww. I could not LIVE without my best friend. I wouldn’t trade her in for all the Rofex’s in the world…
(We aren’t 100 paces apart…but we are only about five minutes by car!)
I miss by best friend from another state..damn. Now I have to pretend my husband is her and I make him act like her. Sometimes hes willing, Sometimes not so much.
Martha reminds me of Patty Hearst.
