Oh Bossy… that’s gorgeous! Of course everything is falling OFF trees here at the moment… come to think of it, more than just the leaves are heading south. But enough about me.
I’ll give it up for spring FLOWERS, but I’m not cheering for spring until I can go outside without sinking into mud up to my ankles. And by that time it will be summer.
Gorgeous! That has always been my favorite spring shrub, but I can never remember its name. I call it a “Star Magnolia” but I have no idea why. Do you know what it is, Bossy?
Here in the middle of the U.S., my inch high snap peas are enjoying sleet and snow this a.m. Today is supposed to be opening day at the ballpark! Ack. Glad I didn’t spend a bloody fortune on tickets to sit in 35 deg. of wet wind.
Happy Spring, Bossy, p.j.
Lovely!
And I don’t have to be jealous today — we’re having first warm weather in the PacNW today for this year. (Has been unseasonably cooold so far this year. Til today.) I’ll be outside once I get off the computer!
Well…we could give up for spring, but we won’t as it is SNOWING here in Michigan. But the Spartans are going to win the NCAA Final tonight, so there will be some happiness in the state. We’ve learned to adjust here.
#11 PJ Yep they are called star Magnolia (botanical name is Magnolia stellata). Cant beat the fragrance thought not much to look at the other 11 months of the year.
I know you have a thing for mornings.
Well 6:30am central (Ree) time i saw the
nice orange glow in the east…
My daughter up for school, I’m going
back to bed.
I rhink sunsets are my thing.
Maybe twinkling stars are it.
