This Ris is maybe just a littttle too old for Bossy’s son and therefore simply wishes her a fun summer full of happiness and family time. The summer after my freshman year of college was my last at home and I still have fond memories of it. Not like you need to be reminded, but take lots of pictures.
Oh, EXCELLENT! He can help Bossy and her brother paint all summer, right? And of course there will be pictures!!

My boy finishes his last final today, but alas is not coming home for another 3 weeks, because he is attending the first session of summer classes (2 courses x 6 days a week x 3 weeks = 6 credit hours! oy.) And then he will be home only 36 hours before he ships out (with his sister!) for 4 weeks of camp counseloring.
He did send me a bouquet of flowers for Mother’s Day! I was shocked and thrilled and teary. What a hero!

I have an almost 3 year old and a 7 month old, and I find myself knowing that time really is flying because it seems like freakin yesterday that you dropped YOUR son off at Columbia for his first year… here at Casa de Chaos, time seems to stand still. But soon, my little 3 year old dude will be the hottie at Columbia. Sigh. 😉
