Welcome to Bossy’s Ear Worm, which features songs currently in Bossy’s headphones. Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue.
Soul Coughing, Casiotone Nation.
Bossy’s friend Jason turned Bossy on to this band a couple of years ago, because Bossy somehow missed these New Yorkers the first time around. They sure know their way around a recording studio. Bossy adores them, but especially this song from their Ruby Vroom record, because: who remembers double dutch?
This song makes Bossy want to get her double-dutch on.

May 15, 2009 at 8:39 amLove this band and that voice! They always remind me of when I broke my arm snowboarding (bunny slope, nothing impressive), gobbled down some painkillers and then went to see them live while I had my casted arm propped up on a side table so I could dance. Good times.

May 15, 2009 at 12:13 pmNow you’ve done it. I was CONVINCED this CD was Bad Luck. It was on our player a LOT during my Very Bad Marriage, and incidentally that Get Onto the Bus song preceded a few Very Bad incidents.
Good luck today, Bossy. You’re going to need it!

Saw them at The Palace in Hollywood a lifetime ago….and contrary to how Rebekah feels, I think these tunes will bring you some real good lovin’….. 🙂
