The other day Bossy wrote about a sixth-grade film project at her local public Middle School. But what Bossy failed to mention was the overall feeling of good will in the auditorium.
Kids were cheering each other on, cheering for the teachers, laughing, sitting quietly, doing the wave, and supporting one another’s efforts in the most touching way.
Bossy knows Middle School is riddled with the meanness that can accompany adolescence — at least more riddled than this day suggests — but still Bossy loved the glimpse into the kind of people these kids will become.
