Sunday mornings, and here is the Bossy family recipe: toast one bagel and slather with cream cheese and then crumble many pieces of bacon and press into the cream cheese. Stir with a good book.
Hey, that’s at my house! Except there are only two of us. And if I had to take the picture… that would be just one at the table. But other than that – just like my house!
I love this! My grouchy husband bans books at meals. So the kids & I wait all year for summer break when we 3 are home alone during the days and can eat and read together at lunch w/o listening to his grumping. Today we had pizza with a side of memoir, graphic novel, and fantasy.
I’m in with the league who enjoys reading while eating. Some of my friends think I”m rude. Other of my friends totally get it. And my family. Well, whenever we’re at home or go out to eat we bring books.*sigh*
Not that we can’t party. But so many books, so little time.
Sounds wonderful. I’ll take some crumbled Kevin Bacon pressed firmly into my toast. I will refrain from remarking about the cream cheese. Good book is optional and will likely only be used as a garnish.
Looks like Bossy’s daughter could use the Snuggie, w/free booklight!
The Snuggie™ Blanket keeps you totally warm and gives you the freedom to use your hands. Work the remote, use your laptop or do some reading in total warmth and comfort!
