Bossy’s hiney was almost clipped by a car trying to capture this photo of a Vermont drawbridge and its buildings. That’s Bossy, giving until it hurts (you.)
Hey Bossy, I can’t see the photo when clicking from the RSS feed, or when I open the page from the RSS feed and click “vermont-drawbridge2” — but I *can* see it when I come to your site and click “guess and press.” Same thing for the “favorite things” post. Are others having this problem?
Google reader links you to either the picture (not publicly viewable), or the actual page (click the little button to the right of the title. NewsFire also does not show the pictures.
My other feeds DO show the pictures.
Vienna, NetNewsWire, Shrook…
So, it seems like it’s the way each reader is set up.
I hate it when everyone else’s RS-thingys (which I don’t actually have) work, and mine doesn’t. So sorry for you Tasha. Usually it’s my cybersitter that’s on and is blocking something random. But that’s not an RS-thingy issue.
Bossy must have been really contorted to have her butt sticking out far enough to tempt passer-by cars while resting camera on the railing.
As photographers, we sometimes live dangerously to get the shot. It was worth it. Great photograph. Makes me want to book the next jet blue flight to Vermont.
I’d love to see the car that could take a better picture of a Vermont drawbridge than Bossy! And, thanks so much for the stroll down memory lane, because it’s been way too long since I’ve seen Lake Champlain.
