Please tell me that Bossy does not immediately set her table after the table has been cleared and that Bossy does not always fold her napkins like this in a way that certain ex-bosses of mine would have been thrilled with.
How sweet that College Boy takes care of Delightful One!!
Does he give classes? Because I have an older brother (age 10) here who could use some lessons on how to be nicer to his younger sister (age 7)! (I will ship him to Columbia if needed)
Oh BB’s Great Dane Axel would love to have sat RIGHT at that table with Bossy’s Great Dane Stella… and as his head is currently on my desk, it won’t be hard to show him!!!
I love that you refer to your son’s girlfriend as the delightful one. Do you really think she is delightful or are you just being nice? I would love for my mother-in-law to think I am delightful, but i don’t think it is going to happen.

September 11, 2009 at 8:58 amStella just got a little confused. Instead of sitting at the “head of the table” she thought Bossy said “head *on* the table.”

September 11, 2009 at 9:39 amThat’s pretty much how I look every night just before I throw dinner on the table. Though my napkins, or lack thereof, are not nearly that fancy.

September 11, 2009 at 10:44 amStella was trying to be an extension of the table, to provide additional seating. That is all, really!

September 11, 2009 at 12:41 pmBossy’s Dane isn’t just Great, she knows how to make herself look inconspicuous and blend into the room real stealth-like.

September 11, 2009 at 1:25 pmWhat?! It’s a lot of work toting that big ole basketball-sized head around all day!
I love how much trouble Bossy’s Son went to for dinner with The Delightful One. So sweet.

September 11, 2009 at 1:41 pmStella does her impression of a cleverly folded napkin and fails miserably.
But we still adore her.
