The Italian Market.
Bossy has featured this place before. It can’t stop charming Bossy around every bend, where bend equals there are no bends, only city streets punctuated with specialty markets and fruit and vegetable venders, warming their hands over oil drum fires.
You can bump against every type of person in this five-block stretch, including the three pictured above, sitting there as they were, glued to a John Wayne flick at 11 in the morning.

October 7, 2009 at 2:39 pmLong live Philly! And cities back in the Northeast in general with markets like these. I’d now have to travel several states over to find anything like this. Jealous!

October 7, 2009 at 4:42 pmThis is one of my all-time favorite photos from Bossydom ever. Not the cropping or the design or any of that. Just the noticing of humankind and its joyous randomness. Good job. Thanks.
