I am Bossy’s opposite! I am just barely 5′ tall. Oh … to be just a tiny bit taller … it would be lovely to be able to shop in the adult clothing sections.
I’m on the other end like the first two commenters. I am 4′ 11.5″ and that .5 matters. We are not a part of the world of little people, but we are also not a part of the “normal” range, sigh….the world of in between. And to all the people in the course of my life that have said, “wow, you’re short!” Really, I had no idea that I can never find any pants that fit 🙂 I’m done now…
Me, three! I rock it out, but can’t wear the high boots anymore because my big toes are the toes of an aging ballerina or a careless football punter or a very elderly lady who stinks of lavender and cats.
Me too! In high school I hated it but now, being 5’11 and a half is kinda cool. When obnoxious people ask how tall I am, I now tell them 5-12, and enjoy watch the confusion on their little mugs.
I’m 2 inches shy of 6′ (in my bare feet)…sigh…I wish I had those two inches…not because I want to be taller, but because my current weight wouldn’t be as horrible if I was 6′ even instead of 5′ 10″. Convoluted thinking at its best.
