February 18, 2010 at 10:42 amThat’s where my mom lived when she met my dad! They used to subsidize the housing there for all the young nurses at HUP.

February 18, 2010 at 11:47 amI agree with Bossy, THIS will always be home. A glorious fishbowl in the sky overlooking waterways and the town below. Acres of green surrounding these award winning buildings was a big attraction to those of us that liked open spaces. And, oh what fun it was.

February 18, 2010 at 1:42 pmSo fascinating, and so different a childhood environs from my college-town single family childhood home. Which I still love driving past on the rare occasion when I’m in that town.
I.M. Pei! Pretty fancy architecting on your apartment!

February 18, 2010 at 11:20 pmI have the same longing for Pasadena. Although I live 4 blocks from the Pacific ocean now Pasadena will always be home to me simply because of the sweetness I carved out for myself during the 10 yrs I lived in Pasadena. And, oh the live oaks—beauty for days.
