So, um, Baby David still hanging around, huh? By this time you have taken him to the vet to make sure he doesn’t have worms or anything else that can get to Stella, right? I spoil your fun here because my son’s Montessori was adopted by a stray cat who, while he remained outside is beloved by the children. After a long time I took him to the vet for things like, oh, you know, a rabies vaccine since he hung around kids and wouldn’t you know it — tapeworms!
The heat registers at Camp Cactus are covered all winter by heat-seeking furballs, too. Sometimes I give up and lie on the floor with them. It’s the only way to stay warm around here.
I’m just thinkin Bossy.. I do that on occasion. I am thinking that Baby Snowflake David looks way too cute in your house. So… you should take him to the Vet, get him checked out and have anything removed that he really doesn’t need and no, I’m not talking claws. Ouch!
Then… you should keep him inside, cuz it’s a mean world out there for a kitty – not to even mention snow! 🙂 I think I even heard Stella say “can we keep him mom? can we, can we?”
And Stella, without even making eye contact, sends the message that if one more mammal even makes a motion towards the heat vent, they may as well sleep outside and call for their mother.
For now Stella doesn’t want to talk about Baby David, because that’s not happening.
