Welcome to Bossy’s Ear Worm, which features songs currently in Bossy’s headphones. Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue.
Maps, Love Will Come.
This is the very latest winter 2010 effort from English artist James Chapman, who records as Maps.
The deal with this one is very simple: Bossy likes to listen to music while she writes, but if she has something complicated to work on, she can’t be bogged down with too many lyrics or too much melody which can often sweep her away. In this situation Bossy often enjoys the musical genre she has named Hypnotica™.
This song perfectly fits the bill, and that bill is $0.99 and should be paid to iTunes. Heh. And by the way, crank this tune up and imagine you are in a disco in Fire Island. The song doesn’t even get cooking in earnest until after the break, more than halfway through. Then it smokes pretty good.
Love will come.
