These, a new take on cucumber sandwiches. The other day Bossy and her friend Martha did something they haven’t done in quite a while, where quite a while equals a whole week, and that’s get together for a girl’s luncheon and movie.
Bossy’s friend Martha brought these cuke sandwiches, which consisted of bread and cukes and hummus and some other cheese or was it sour cream with something in it, like garlic or maybe it was herbs, and then topped with, maybe, roasted sweet peppers and dill?
Sorry Bossy isn’t much help about this recipe, but: luscious.
And they combined perfectly with the creamy bean soup Bossy made with ginger and whole tomatoes and… yeah, forgetting that too. But roasted Kale chips, that much Bossy remembers.

March 17, 2010 at 10:38 amGah! My friend and I eat taquitos and drink diet 7-up. That explains our figures and the gas, I guess, but we definitely need to step it up!

March 17, 2010 at 2:27 pmKale chips? Never seen ’em, but I must find some the next time I go to the store. These little appetizers look so scrumptious… and fancy-looking, which is what I really like in a snack.
