Last night Bossy had the chance to unofficially kick-off her (No) Book Tour road trip, where unofficially equals Bossy isn’t actually on the road yet. But Bossy and her Philadelphia blogger friends convened anyway, in a tater tot factory bowling alley.
The always entertaining Cecily was there and sweet Ruth was there and darling Kelly was there and the irrepressible Kristin was there and Kristin’s blog wife Meg was there and cute Heather was there and the Domestic Goddess was in the house and finally Bossy’s Lora.
And the Philly bloggers bowled, where bowled equals they ate and drank and talked and laughed and occasionally were interrupted by that ball with three holes.
See how much fun you can have without a pesky New York Times Bestseller List book to promote?
It warms Bossy’s heart when she thinks about how all of these women came into each other’s lives solely due to their blogs. There’s nothing like being with a dynamic, similar, unique group of people brought together in unconventional circumstances. If Bossy’s (No) Book Tour is coming to a city near you, please consider coming out and being a part of the love fest.
And speaking of coming to a city near you, isn’t it funny how Bossy hasn’t announced these cities yet, where funny equals Bossy is this minute wrestling the alligator that is her six-week itinerary — but she will be announcing these cities and dates within the next day or two, along with a video featuring her fabulous team of (No) Book Tour sponsors!

March 25, 2010 at 12:33 pmIt’s pretty obvious, you’re my kind of girls. I had to fill in on a bowling team and they kept dragging me away from the snack bar. Then they yelled at me for not being serious andf…ing up. Bitches, serious bowling bitches! Bossy, what form! Tell the truth, are you a secretly serious bowling bitch?

March 25, 2010 at 1:08 pm–>Oh it makes me sad that you’ll be in Richmond and not closer to Virginia Beach.
(It would have been funny if you put that white “this could be you” profile face in the first group picture. Okay, I amuse myself…)

March 25, 2010 at 1:37 pmOh Gah Bossy. If Denver isn’t on the list I’m going to drown in a puddle of tears.
And I’m even thinking of starting a blog of my own, just so I can feel like a part of the “girls.”

March 25, 2010 at 1:48 pmtrust us all when we tell you that none of us are serious bowlers. Four of us were bowling and our combined score didn’t break 300!
But the time was beyond amazing.

March 26, 2010 at 4:11 amI had been wondering about the new colour of hair as well – so that’s Meg. Took me some seconds to notice, especially as the leg-showing wouldn’t have been too unlikely for Bossy either …

March 26, 2010 at 6:43 amWow, didn’t know all that was available, I’d settle for the one on the far right, but willing to take them all. I signed up, now let’s see if Vegas is on the list this year. (I can dream, can’t I?)

March 26, 2010 at 10:29 amOh dear…I thought that girl had pulled up her pants leg so she could pull up her white tights, and it was her skin! Nice alabaster skin, dear.

March 26, 2010 at 12:38 pmBossy,
I know you’re hung over and all, dear, but some more captions would have been helpful. Cause some o’ this bloggettes don’t bother posting their photos on their sites so how do I (a) know who is who so as to (b) stalk them?
Hey, those gams of yours are working well enough to bowl! I’d enjoy all that, except the bowling part.
