The Hipstamatic camera app for iPhone. Bossy will just go ahead and add her voice to the chorus of Hipstamatic fans, because the effects produced are so very cool. Or as Bossy’s mom pointed out, “Hilarious that everyone is now utilizing cutting edge technology to make photos appear as though they were produced by a Brownie kept in their grandfather’s damp basement.“

–>I think the same thing when I put the 70s vibe on photos so they look like ones of me as a little kid.

Hah. If someone has a Brownie in their basement, they need to bring it out and put it on eBay instead.

I have boxes of old slides in the closet that look very similar. Glad to know they’re trendy!

Thanks to Mom’s 1970s Keystone Everflash 10 instamatic, for the first two decades of my life that’s what color I thought I was.

I have boxes and boxes of photos with the same coloring, and here I always thought it as just cheap crappy film! Of course, in the 80s I would not have believed that bell bottoms and hip-huggers would ever come back in style, and you know how that turned out (as I sit here in my mid-rise flares).

Bossy’s mom is very astute!
Hmmm….maybe my collection of vintage Brownies will fund my retirement years.
