This dress. It belonged to Bossy’s daughter until today, when it was officially declared too small.
Bossy’s daughter has been wearing this dress for at least five years, and it seemed to epitomize her shift from young girl to young woman — at first the dress was comically long, and then it was startling short, and now it’s off to Goodwill to be loved by another girl.
Bossy will miss you, pink print dress with the brown trim!

June 17, 2010 at 6:01 pmI like the idea of hanging on to a few special clothing momentos.
And slightly off-topic (but on BossysDaughter topic) — did we completely miss the Wizard of Oz extravaganza while Bossy was on the road? When will/ did that happen? Or did I just miss it?
