Vegetable gardens in the front yard.
This house lives in Bossy’s neighborhood, and in their front yard, in lieu of a humorless suburban lawn, they have a farm of vegetables and herbs and flowers. Bossy would do this in a heartbeat if any of her many front yards over the years got anything close to full sun.

June 24, 2010 at 10:39 amI am so with you on this one, Bossy. My house faces north, so all I can grow on my postage-stamp sized yard is ivy. I’d also worry about the neighbors letting their dogs pee on my produce. Ugh.
Cheers, p.j.

…I think it’s great when folks put their gardens out front and not to mention, it makes the gardener stay on top of weeds and keepin’ that garden lookin’ like it should too… :o)
…Blessin’s Bossy… :o)
