I thought I was the only freak to use scissors. We have about 10 pairs of scissors in the kitchen drawer. By the end of each day, at least 5 of them are in the dishwasher. We use them for every thing.
Try the commercial pizza cutters–then you will love them. I use them to cut my homemade noodles, brownies, pies, they stay sharp but they are expensive–an indulgence I give myself. They even have a sheath to keep the whell protected.
I actually keep a pair of scissors in my bag just so I have them when we eat out. It’s amazing how much easier it is to cut food for a toddler with scissors over a fork and knife.
–>No sauce?
I use my egg slicer to slice mushrooms so they’re all uniform. Just call me MacGyver of the kitchen.
