The excursion began like any other:
The seas were bumpy but they had each other:
When all else failed they ate raw fish:
And, in the end, they are more than a little relieved to be back on dry land:
Read about the South Florida guys lost at sea over the weekend here.
Oh, the eye bags are the best “fun” indicator! Thanks for the review and great pictures!
I’m posting a fictional tale online at http://www.afacebookstory-oneclickaway.blogspot.com about a wife-mom like many of us who veers down a path most don’t, can’t or won’t, but probably think about! Today’s post is the start of a rare girls overnight that involves all the cocktails and laughs that BlogHer appears to have had, but with the introduction of a man who is going to cause some trouble. I hope you will take a peek and that your re-entry to our everyday life went well!

Love you. Miss you already. But not missing the lump of pastrami in my gut, fer chrissake.
Love seeing so many familiar faces! Looks like a good time!
Next year, I’m going!! This looks so fun!
So good to see you, as always. xo
So glad you had such an awesome! time. I missed seeing you, and all the other lovely faces belonging to all the lovely people, this year.
Bags under the eyes= good time had.
I didn’t get to meet you. I’m not good at imposing, or feeling like I am imposing, on people. but I have to admit – I was awfully curious whether you spoke about yourself in 3rd person like you write. haha
I didn’t even know some of those others were there… MetroDad and Laid-Off Dad – those were some of the first dad-blogs I read and they’re still on my reader list.
It was my first conference for blogging. Next year, I’m going to take my Power Pill for Bravery before hand and march up to say HI, I’M just LINDA.
Be expecting it. :o)
Gin and Prosecco? Who knew?
It was nice to see you again and meet the Far Flung Correspondent, aka Bossy’s Son. He is cuter in real life if that’s possible!
DARLING….the whole bunch of them…
I just can’t get over the intensity of eye color in the photo with you and Mocha Mama!
So nice to finally meet you! I don’t think I danced enough at SparkleCorn to combat all the consumed BurgHers, but still, oh so fun!
So, was it OTJ or Bossy that kept the floor up every night?
Nice pics. I’m thinking Bossy and Mocha Momma are twins separated at birth.
Do you never eat, Bossy? I want to feed you full of the curried red lentil coconut soup I’m cooking right now. And wine from a box. You’ll love it.
So glad I stalked you effectively enough so that I could be right where you’d DANCE into the room! God woman, are you TALL ENOUGH lol
SOOOO happy to finally meet you, although yah… next time? I’ll stand on a chair.
How fun. I’m going next year so I can be in another Bossy long arm picture. Seriously, how do you do that? My long arm pictures come out all wonky!
Yes. The French 75. Long may it reign.
The weekend was magic. And you waved a big wand.
Jealous… jealous… jealous… me want to be in long-arm photo with Bossy. At big blogger conference. Maybe crashing the Bossy-and-Ree photo op. After a LOT of chardonnays. Cause that final criteria is the only way I’d be game enough to introduce myself to the first women of the blogosphere…

PS Mocha Mom’s eyes are DIVINE!! Wow..
Ug…this made me want to hang out wiff you soooooooo badly! Reunion?!
Bossy, you’re so bad, it’s deliciously good. Loved meeting you at the BH conference. Hope to see you at BH Food??
You and your roommate are two of my favorite people. How did we not get any photos of the three of us together?
I have to get a copy of the photo you took of us at the bar. It was so fun hanging out with you! Too many good times to count this weekend.
Man, has it really been six years since my lost at sea experience in Pittsburgh? Wrap party for my friend’s show and for the first time in something like thirty years found myself sitting at her kitchen table with three of us all told still drinking wine after dawn. I don’t have the stamina to hang with theater people often. Her husband just gave us a funny look as he headed off to work. This is why I never go to her Derby party.
Welcome back to land, Bossy. Thanks for giving us a free ride while you did all the hard drinking, er work.
