I just had a stretch of working 9 days in a row. Yesterday I went ballistic on our district manager.
Today I slept until 7:30PM!! I’m off work until Tuesday. I’ll be reading a book or two and perfecting a recipe for Sugar-free blueberry muffins.
–>Going to a college football game tonight, to my parents’ lake house tomorrow and then DC on Monday to watch Virginia Tech play. I can’t believe it’s Labor Day weekend already.
Chilling at the house, planning for the week long vacation that starts next weekend. Maybe I’ll give the dogs a bath. Try to contain your squeals of excitement.
BBQ chicken. steaks, experimental linguica spaghetti sauce. Don’t know in what order. Sauce made and mellowing. Hours in the pool, working my tired muscles. Pressure cleaning patio furniture. making pineapple icebox cake for daughters Tuesday birthday. Movie watching with my man and my dog. Just being glad that this HOT summer is coming to an end. Maybe my hot flashes won’t be so brutal. I live in hope! Happy Labor Day, Bossy!
No holiday for us in Europe, but after I finish this work week I’ll be back in the States for 2 weeks, first time in EIGHT YEARS! Hamburger, here I come!
I spent the first half of the holiday weekend up in NH at my parent’s lake house. I’m back in Boston today and plan to go grab a drink or two with friends later this afternoon.
Wishing for hot weather. Well, maybe just warm weather. Made cameo appearances at two different parties that were supposed to be outdoors but both were chased in by the chill and threat of rain. I know you hot people out there aren’t sorry for us, but the Pacific Northwest has seriously had no summer this year.
Oh the memories of the SSC! I know that view well and feel just a little bit sad about not celebrating labor day at the pool. I hope it was a great day!

September 3, 2010 at 7:58 pmMN went from 92 degrees on Monday to 61 currently, so I doubt I’ll be in the pool, but I will be attending 1 if not 2 Twins games over the weekend.

September 3, 2010 at 8:33 pmI have to work Saturday and Sunday, but it’s getting me out of going to a picnic with my least-favorite inlaws, so I’ll try not to complain too much.

September 3, 2010 at 10:10 pmI will spend it wishing I had nice legs like Bossy.
Maybe the fact that Bossy runs every morning and I eat chocolate chips for breakfast has something to do with it??????
