This snack. Bossy takes those pre-packaged flour tortillas, and she grills them in her iron skillet with a sprinkling of olive oil and salt, on high, until they bubble and brown on both sides — and then she fills them with something simple. Here it’s chives. Last night it was a thin spread of Boursin cheese and baby spinach, which wilted instantly. Takes only minutes, council. Like, three of them. Delish.
Is there one under my seat (like Oprah)?
Just chives??
…Holy Yum! I love stuff like this! Simple and filling and doesn’t cost a lot… :o)
…Blessings…
This is really something! So simple, but my mud-headed brain wouldn’t have thought it up… Thanks Bossy!
P.S. @tj – not just chives… chives & cabernet!
Delicious and easy. I love it.
love me a quesadilla – best quick fire meal ever!
I envy how when BOSSY thinks of quick and easy, she thinks gourmet….and I think of microwaved hot dogs.
I’m assuming that ain’t Welch’s in that cute little glass?
Throw a little cheese in there and Mmmmmm.
Oh, I’m so relieved. I thought it was a Guess and Press and that you were eating a squished tarantula.
We used to love cooking stuff in olive oil, but then we heard that this isn’t so great healthwise and it’s all Grapeseed oil this and Grapeseed oil that. And is that wine we see back there?
Sounds like a winner- gonna grab a package at the grocery store this afternoon….
Yes! I fill mine with scrambled eggs and a spoonful of Spicy Peach Salsa from Trader Joe’s.
