Never lived anywhere with block parties, but did live on “Cousin Street.” Seriously, grandparents, aunts, uncle, great aunt and uncle, great grandmother, and more than a dozen cousins all clumped around together. Seldom a night passed without a grandkid on a pallet in grandparents’ living room.
