Ree’s chocolate cake. The icing contains crushed walnuts which actually taste more like small chunks of chocolate. Also, it’s warm. In addition, it was served with homemade berry ice cream. Also in addition, pay no attention to that white wine you see there.

I made this for a house full of teen boys last year. They devoured it. So jealous of your trip to Oklahoma. Now we just need to get you back to The OC for some Laguna Beach time. Plus, you really DO want to tour the real housewives neighborhood, don’t ya? : )

I have made that sheet cake many times since I read Ree’s recipe. It is awesome, and the PECANS are great in the frosting. The frosting is great with the pecans. The cake isn’t too thick, either. It’s perfect.
