Ree’s chocolate cake. The icing contains crushed walnuts which actually taste more like small chunks of chocolate. Also, it’s warm. In addition, it was served with homemade berry ice cream. Also in addition, pay no attention to that white wine you see there.

August 20, 2011 at 12:01 pmI have made that sheet cake many times since I read Ree’s recipe. It is awesome, and the PECANS are great in the frosting. The frosting is great with the pecans. The cake isn’t too thick, either. It’s perfect.
