Bossy fell in love on the High Line. With the High Line. It’s a conversion of an elevated freight train line into a city park and walkway. It runs on the west side through parts of Chelsea and the Meatpacking District.
This is the best example of masterful, inspired, functional city planning Bossy has seen in a very long time.

Is Bossy living near the High Line now? Or just visiting?

I just tripped on my drool from that photo with all those shapes and textures and colors.

Nice Capsule history:
In the mid 80’s A group of property owners lobbies for demolition of the entire structure…
1999, “Friends of the High Line” is founded, eventually the city got on board…

Have you seen The Curious Garden, a beautiful children’s book by Peter Brown? It is about the High Line.
